HCG Diet Plan
By following our very simple but specific diet to lose weight fast and following the HCG Diet Plan, you will quickly begin to experience the body and health of your dreams. Even though the diet to lose weight fast is a very low calorie plan, you will not experience any unusual discomfort since the HCG will cause your body to release its deep stored fat to satisfy your body’s needs. Where ever possible, we suggest you buy organic food and produce. It tastes better, and it is better for you. There is more nutrition in one organic apple than in five regular apples!
HCG Phases
The HCG Weight Loss Program is laid out in 3 phases. The first phase is to help you have a comfortable start on the diet plan. It is important for you to take advantage of each phase in order to assure your success on the program. If phase 1 is done correctly, you will not experience hunger as you enter into Phase 2. In Phase 2, you will consume 500 calories as set forth below. It is important that you do not go over the 500 calories. Please use a small notebook or an online tool to keep track of your calories. There are even apps for smart phones to help you keep track of your caloric intake each day. You want to stay as close to 500 calories without going over that amount. At the conclusion of your HCG Injections, there is a three-day transition period. During this time, the HCG is still active in your system, and it is important to continue to follow the 500 calorie diet program. At the end of the Transition period, you will begin your maintenance program by gradually entering more foods back into your diet.
Does the HCG Diet Work?
The HCG Diet does work! It has been working for over half a century. This is not the latest fad. This is a weight loss program that has many successful and happy people who no longer consider themselves dieters. Do they still watch their weight? Are they still careful about what they eat? Yes, they are, but not like someone worried to slip up and relapse into obesity. They watch the scale and what they eat because they care about their health and well-being. Most people who have never been obese and who have never had a weight problem also watch what they eat and monitor their weight regularly. This is normal healthy behavior. It is being responsible and mindful of one’s physical condition. The HCG Diet will get you where you want to go. It is the vehicle. It is up to you to follow through and exert the effort necessary to achieve your goal of a healthy and trim body. Does the HCG Diet Work? YES! And You are worth it!
HCG Diet What to Eat?
When following any diet, knowing what you can eat is the important part. So you ask on the HCG Diet What to Eat? Here is a list of the allowed items: If you are a coffee drinker, get a Organic coffee, Stevia Sweetener (No other sugar substitutes as they contain synthetic ingredients), Green Tea (Try to get organic) High in antioxidant value and has zero calories, Apple Cider Vinegar (Try to find unfiltered), Apples, Lemons, Oranges, Grapefruit, Strawberries – Fresh, Iceberg and Romaine Lettuce, Cabbage, Asparagus, Cucumbers, Sweet onions, Green onions, Celery, Fresh Spinach, Garlic cloves, Tomatoes, Melba Toast, Grissini Bread Sticks, Salsa or Hot sauce (Check for added sugar, should have less than 1 carb or sugar per serving), Natural Sea Salt, Variety of other spices (nothing with sugar) garlic powder or minced, basil, parsley, cumin, rosemary, onion powder, cayenne, chili powder, etc., Chicken Broth (Low sodium, Use lightly when cooking instead of oils), Beef Broth (Low Sodium, use lightly when cooking instead of oils), Chicken Breast or Tenders (white meat), At least 93% lean ground beef and chicken (chicken is preferred), Lean steak, Shrimp, lobster, crab (No more than 2 times/week), Tilapia (or other white fish – no tuna or salmon).
HCG Diet Phases
The HCG Diet is made up of three phases, or distinctly different eating plans. In Phase 1, it sounds like you are going to have some fun. Beginning with the day of your first HCG injection, you are encouraged to eat a relatively high fat content diet. If your normal diet is around 2000 calories, then your intake during Phase 1 (the Binge Phase) should be about 3000-4000 calories. The purpose of this is to keep you from feeling hungry in the early stages of your HCG treatment and to keep your body from thinking that the very low calorie diet in Phase 2 is actually a famine and lowering your metabolism to protect itself. It is better if you can chose foods that are high in fat content rather than high in sugar content. Think: macaroni and cheese rather than cheesecake. If you have high sugar content during Phase 1, then there is a possibility of having a headache as your body becomes accustomed to not having the sugar in Phase 2 of the HCG Program. This is the time for some fried food or fatty meats, bacon and egg breakfast with buttered toast and jam. You have two days to enjoy foods which you have probably denied yourself for ages. This time the binge has a purpose.
What is the HCG Diet?
It is in Phase 2 that people begin to find the answer to "What is the HCG Diet?" Phase 2 is the 500 calorie portion of the diet. During the first couple of days or so, you may find it a bit of a challenge to eat only 500 calories. Most of clients realize that this is more because they have a habit of eating, or a habit of eating for reasons other than hunger. Phase 2 of the HCG Diet allows a range of foods sufficient to keep from becoming boring, and which can be adapted to many different tastes. It is possible to cook for the family with the HCG Diet Plan by simply adding starches to the menu for the non-dieters and providing them with larger portions. This will keep you from feeling like you have to cook different meals for yourself and the rest of the family. What is the HCG Diet? It is quite simply very healthy eating, but in a very low calorie format. The fact that this is a very balanced plan of eating is an added benefit to the wonderful weight loss you will see.
HCG Diet Plan
The HCG Diet Plan will work for you. It has decades of successful dieters who have taken off the weight quickly and safely. Here is a brief outline of your meals and some ideas for what to eat on the HCG Diet Plan:
Breakfast: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. One tablespoon of milk is allowed in a 24-hour period. Stevia is the only acceptable sweetener.
Variation: Some eat the fruit serving with breakfast; it did not seem to adversely impact most people.
Lunch: One serving of the following vegetables: asparagus, tomatoes, salad greens, fennel, onions, radishes, spinach, chard, chicory, cabbage, and cucumbers.
Variation: Some eat two or more vegetables at a meal. The quantity isn’t specified. Use a diet tracker tool to make sure you aren’t exceeding 500 calories no matter what you do.
You may have 3.5 ounces, weighed raw and trimmed of any visible fat of the following proteins: Veal, lean beef, chicken breast (removed from bone) white fish, lobster, crab or shrimp. Salmon not allowed.
Variation: Be sure you check your calories; 3.5 ounces of beef has more calories than white fish. Extra lean ground turkey has been successfully integrated into the diet. Tuna packed in water has also been used successfully.
Snack: Half grapefruit, handful of strawberries or a medium apple. (Unless you ate the fruit for breakfast.) Some eat small oranges, but they are high on the glycemic index and can cause insulin spikes, and hunger. In addition to the fruit, one grissini breadstick or 3 Melba "rounds".
Dinner: Same as lunch. Do not eat the same protein for lunch and dinner.
Other: Juice of one lemon and most seasonings can be used. No oil or butter. Seasonings have calories, so check the label and don’t use any with sugars or chemicals. Drink plenty of water, tea and coffee. No carbonated drinks, including diet soda. Eggs have been used as a protein, but Dr. Simeons warns against regular egg consumption during this phase. If it is not on this list, don’t eat it.
HCG Diet Phase 1
On the HCG Diet Phase 1, it is important to get this Phase correct in order to set the stage for success throughout the rest of the program. Phase 2 of the HCG Diet will be infinitely easier if you will follow the directions for the HCG Diet Phase 1 to the letter. Actually, this won’t be hard at all. You are simply encouraged to eat more. Have you ever had a diet say that to you before? Probably not! The point here is that the HCG injections will begin to pull calories for fuel for your body from your stored fat in about 3 days after you begin to take the Injectable HCG. During the first days, if you do not eat a diet which is high in fat and calories, then the chances are you will feel more hungry than necessary. If you chose to skip Phase 1 thinking you will jump start your weight loss, you are sadly mistaken. Your brain is more likely to read the reduction in calories as a famine and instruct your hypothalamus to hold on to stored fat by lowering your metabolism. This is the exact opposite of what we want to accomplish. So bon appétit! Enjoy those extra calories. The HCG Diet Phase 1 is a very important part of the plan to fool your body into raising your metabolism and kick-starting your weight loss on the HCG Weight Loss Program.
HCG Diet Phase 2
During the HCG Diet Phase 2, you will be taking your HCG Injections and Vitamin 12 injections on a daily basis. You should take the injections early in your day at approximately the same time for the entire 42 day program. There are no days off. You should take your HCG shot every day. The original protocol called for green tea and water until lunch, when you would have one item from each of the meat, vegetable, fruit and melba toast categories. We now recognize that it is easier to maintain energy levels and stabilize blood sugar levels by eating several smaller meals throughout the day. You could have 2 egg whites with onion for breakfast, followed by a fruit snack a couple of hours later. For lunch on the HCG Diet Phase 2, you could then have a salad and meat selection, followed by a tea and melba toast snack a few hours later. Dinner could be made up of a meat and vegetable selection, and then enjoy an after dinner "dessert" of a piece of fruit and tea. It is hard to feel deprived or even like you’re on a diet when you plan ahead and enjoy a range of different foods all through the day. It is important to monitor the calories of each of the foods you eat to be sure to stay under the 500 calorie limit.
HCG Diet – Transition
When you stop taking the HCG, you need to continue the original low calorie program for another three days. At the end of the three days, you can start eating anything you please, except sugar and starch and fats, provided you faithfully observe one simple rule. This rule is that you must have your own scale always at hand, particularly while traveling. You must weigh every morning as you get out of bed, without clothes, after having emptied your bladder, before breakfast or liquids of any kind.
It takes approximately 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable. At that time, you should not even see violent fluctuations in your weight after occasional excess. During this period you must realize that carbohydrates, meaning: SUGAR, RICE, BREAD, POTATOES, PASTRIES, etc., are by far the most dangerous. If no carbohydrates are consumed, fats can be indulged somewhat more liberally and even small quantities of alcohol, such as a glass of wine with meals, will do no harm. When fats and starches are combined, weight gain can get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the program has ended otherwise weight gain is very likely.
As long as your weight stays within 2 pounds of the weight reached on the day of the last HCG injection, you should take no notice of any increase. If you have a weight gain of more than 2 lbs in one day – the moment the scale goes beyond two pounds, even if this is only a few ounces, you must on that same day entirely skip breakfast and lunch but take plenty to drink. In the evening, eat a huge steak and 1 apple or 1 raw tomato — nothing else. It is of utmost importance that this is done on the day the scale goes above 2 pounds and not postponed until the following day. If a meal is skipped on the day in which a gain is registered in the morning, this brings about an immediate drop of often over a pound. But if the skipping of the meal (and skipping means literally skipping, not just having a light meal) is postponed, the phenomenon does not occur and several days of strict dieting may be necessary to correct the situation.
Most people hardly ever need to do this and if they have eaten a heavy lunch they feel no desire to eat their dinner, and in this case no increase takes place. If they keep their weight at the point reached at the end of the HCG injections, even a heavy dinner does not bring about an increase of two pounds on the next morning, and does not therefore call for any special measures. You may be surprised at the lack of cravings for poor quality foods and your decreased appetite, but also you will be pleased with the amount of food you can eat without gaining weight.
HCG Diet Phase 3 – Maintenance Phase
The Maintenance Phase 3 is designed to stabilize your weight and for you to learn to maintain your new weight. During the HCG Diet Phase 3, the goal is NOT to continue trying to lose weight. If you do try to continue to lose weight, you may compromise your ability to effectively reset your metabolism. The goal is for you to return to eating ‘normal’ quantities of food, while slowing re-introducing some good fats and a wider variety of foods to your diet. If you wish to lose more weight, you should follow the maintenance plan for at least 3 weeks and then begin another course of the HCG Weight Loss Plan.
After the last day of the HCG Injections, you must stay on the 500 calories program for 3 days until the HCG is out of your system. It takes about 3 weeks before the weight which you have reached at the end of the HCG Weight Loss Injections becomes stable and does not show drastic fluctuations after an occasional excess. We suggest that you eat what you want, when you want. Learn to listen to your body and only eat when you are hungry, and stop eating when you have had enough. During the Maintenance Phase 3, you must have no sugars and no starches and weigh every day. If you are 2 pounds over your weight on the day of your last HCG Injections treatment (HCG) weight, then we suggest you have a Steak Day on that very day (not a day or two later). The procedure for a Steak Day is to skip breakfast and lunch but have plenty of green tea or water to drink. In the evening, you must eat a huge steak with only an apple or a raw tomato.
Sometimes people start to panic in the Maintenance Phase 3 of the HCG Diet because there are no specific quantities of food specified. It is important that you learn how to begin to regulate yourself and use your own perceptions as your guide. Here are a few other guidelines to be followed during this Maintenance Phase 3 to successfully keep the weight off and reset your body’s new weight. They are as follows:
- No starches.
- No sugars or sweets. Also, be careful with very sweet fruit, and no fruit juices. Avoid added sugars to unsuspected foods. Closely watch labels and be wary of fat-free or low-fat items that may be pumped up with sugars and carbohydrates. Artificial sweeteners, sugar-free gum, and diet drinks are ok. Watch your labels.
- Do not eat to the point of being full. Eat only what you need just to satisfy your hunger. If you are eating something which you find particularly delicious, it is helpful to remember that each bite will taste exactly like the first one. Savor and enjoy the first bite and leave the rest on the plate.
- Weigh yourself every day and have a Steak Day if your weight is up by two pounds or more from your last weight when you were taking the HCG injections for weight loss. Most weight gain occurs because of not adhering to this one rule. Do not try to judge by the fit of your clothes.
- Legumes and nuts can be a very concentrated source of calories and fat. If you decide to add legumes and nuts to your diet, do so in small quantities (1/4 cup per meal no more than once a day) and monitor your weight for any increase.
Following are a list of suggested foods for the Maintenance Phase 3 of the HCG Diet:
Fruits – Most fruits and berries are acceptable in moderation. No fruit juices. Avoid canned fruits with added sugars or in heavy syrup. Be careful with grapes and bananas. No dried fruit.
Vegetables – Most vegetables are acceptable except the starchy ones; potatoes, yams, corn, peas, rutabagas, chicory root, or tomato sauces with added sugar.
Meats – All meats are acceptable. Trim the visible fats and go for the leaner choices. Remove skin from chicken or other poultry. All seafood is fine, but no breaded items (such as fish and chips or crab cakes.)
Dairy – Choose lower fat options. Cheeses are acceptable, but monitor your fat intake. Do not have cheeses frequently. Do not eat yogurt unless it is regular or plain and you add your own stevia and fresh fruit. Fat-free and low-fat versions of yogurt are usually loaded with sugar. Cottage cheese is fine; check the carbohydrates and pick one with the lowest.
Starches/Breads – No Starches!
Legumes/Beans – Edamame is acceptable. Most other legumes need to be eaten very carefully and in very small quantities. They are quite starchy and need to be eaten with caution. Chili should be avoided.
Nuts/Seeds – Use these items in small quantities and monitor your weight for any gain. Peanut butter in small quantities may be eaten. One serving a day of 10-15 nuts is the maximum that should be eaten. If you are having a hard time controlling your weight in maintenance, then cease eating any nuts or seeds.
Condiments – Watch for added sugars and carbohydrates. Low sugar barbecue sauce is ok. No jams and jellies unless made with artificial sweetener. Low sugar ketchup can be used. Honey mustard has too much sugar. No sweet pickles or sweet pickle relish. Watch out with low-fat salad dressings, many have added sugars—you may be better using the regular higher fat versions. It is better to wait until after first 3 weeks of maintenance to try these.
Fats/Oils – After the first 3 weeks of maintenance, add good fats in small amounts. Olive oil, avocado, some cheese, cream.
Sauces – Be careful with starchy sauces made with a lot of corn starch or flour. It is best to avoid at all sauces and gravies for 6 weeks, and even then, rarely. If the sauce tastes really sweet, it probably has a lot of added sugars and should be avoided.
The purpose of the maintenance phase 3 is to allow your body to stabilize to your new weight and to adjust your eating habits to normal but continue healthy eating. In order to do this, you should follow the maintenance plan exactly, adding in more foods to allow your body to stabilize at your new weight.
When you begin the maintenance phase 3, it is advisable to return to a regular exercise program.
Losing More WeightAfter three weeks of maintenance, you can return to the HCG program for another round of HCG injections if you have more weight to lose.
Resume Normal Food QuantityAfter the first round has ended, some people are afraid to begin adding foods back into their diets, afraid they may gain weight. If you do not begin to add foods back in again, the opposite may actually occur and you may gain unwanted weight. So make sure you begin to add a normal quantity and a variety of foods again. Remember this all about teaching your hypothalamus to regulate your metabolism to NOT store fat. If you restrict your eating while you are NOT taking HCG Injections, you will be teaching your body to store fat rather than burn fat.
RelapseSome people think that it is unnecessary to weigh daily and that they can judge an increase from the fit of their clothes. Some do not carry their scale with them while traveling, as it is cumbersome and takes a big bite out of their luggage allowance when flying. This is a disastrous mistake, because after a course of HCG as much as ten pounds can be regained without any noticeable change in the fit of their clothes. The reason for this is that after weight loss on the HCG program, newly acquired fat is at first evenly distributed and does not show the former preference for certain body parts.
Pregnancy or menopause may cancel out the effects of a previously successful HCG Weight Loss Program. Women who take HCG Injections during the first year after the last menstruation—that is, the onset of menopause—do just as well as others, but among them the relapse rate is higher until menopause is fully established. This only applies to women who are not receiving hormone replacement therapy. If these are taken, the pre-menopausal period may be indefinitely prolonged. If you become pregnant, you must cease the program immediately. If you experience weight gain beyond two pounds, coming back for a second round of HCG is completely acceptable. Repeat courses are often even more satisfactory than the first treatment. You have the advantage of knowing that you will feel comfortable throughout the program and be successful in losing the weight you want.

I’ve had a lot of different ailments over the years, and I’ve been gaining weight more every time I check. I just had the feeling if I could get the weight off once and for all, then I could get involved with some physical activity and feel better. I saw an ad on Google and just clicked on impulse. That ad brought me to HCG Weight Loss Portland OR. I was pretty skeptical, but I liked that this is a program that has been around over 55 years. Well, obviously I tried it (or I wouldn’t be writing this), and I liked it, and it worked for me. I also feel SO much better than ever before. All my nagging issues have started to go away. I’m in the military, and there are fitness requirements that I have to meet on a regular basis. I’ve always been on the heavy side, but now I could really get in trouble if I don’t stay within the exact weight range. I’m not the only one in this boat, so I asked my buddy what he was doing about his weight. He told me about HCG Weight Loss San Diego CA. I would like to say I worked the program to the letter, but I didn’t. It took me 40 days to lose 25 pounds, but I did it and I’ve kept the weight off for a year now. I’m an inter-national rep selling advertising for a publishing company. I am constantly on the go. I really didn’t notice that I had gained a pound here and a pound there till I went to my doctor for a checkup, and he checked my weight from 10 years ago. I had gained 5 pounds a year for 10 years. He asked if I planned to continue this pattern for the next 10 years. Well, no! Then he asked me what I was going to do about it. I called my secretary and asked her to find me something that would work. She sent me to HCG Weight Loss Arlington, VA. I’m happy to say it works. I’m back to the weight I was when I was in college. Rebecca H. of Cincinnati, OH writes:
I grew up in a big family, and I always wanted to have one of my own. After having 4 sons, we finally had a baby girl and decided that was enough kids. With 5 children under the age of 10, I really had my hands full. I never really managed to lose the weight I had gained from one baby before I was expecting again and couldn’t go on a diet. When my baby girl turned 2, I got a good look at myself when I posted her birthday party pictures on Facebook. I didn’t like what I saw. I tried a bunch of different diet programs, and either they didn’t work or they made me feel horrible. When I found HCG Weight Loss Cincinnati OH, I was rather skeptical. How would I manage 5 kids on 500 calories a day? It really wasn’t hard at all. I most of the weight I needed to and went back for round 2 to get down to my goal weight. I happily recommend HCG Weight Loss Cincinnati OH – they are real winners! Rebecca H.

I made a comment about it in the elevator of my building one day, and the pretty lady next to me handed me a flyer for HCG Weight Loss New York NY. Of course, I gave them a call. I’ve been really happy with the program. I was scheduled to be on it for 42 days, but I had lost the 30 pounds I need to lose after just 25 days.
